I’m a product designer who likes working on problems where a single tap can have real consequences.
I’m drawn to systems that need to feel fast, calm, and trustworthy—especially when users are distracted, under pressure, or unsure.
UPI Shield is one of those projects: a design that treats safety as a product experience, not a warning banner.
UPI Shield is a risk-aware payment flow that helps users avoid common UPI scam patterns—without turning every payment into a slow security checklist.
It does this by keeping a clean fast path for normal payments, and activating a “Shield mode” only when signals suggest higher risk (like a new payee + high amount, spoofed handles, or collect-request confusion).
